The Heart of a Child

Myriads of stars in the heavens

a reredos one
lamp oil
I keep still in the corner
my home
harvest of dreams

Where the asphalt
the land ends
the flowery path
traverses the vast
with heart of a child

In the deserted chapel
slender candles
with small yellow flames
My friends are hidden

My hands are full of rays
but when it rains
like music, like a prayer
