You have Imprisoned Me...

Your naughty half wink,
‘Oh my Grief!’ I thought,
‘has done the wonders...
I am in her lock up.’

‘Life sentence’, her stern verdict,
she quietly laughed off.
‘Joy and no grief lifelong’,
I could hardly hide my pleasure!

We held on to each other,
‘Can ever crime and punishment
be more pleasant than this?’
On her blush I planted a kiss.
