lured by its luxurious loam
the audacious plant migrates
boldly, to some foreign soil
unmindful, unsuspecting...

precious dust of native earth
clings nonetheless to its roots
like the ever-abiding love
of an abandoned mother

lonesome in an unknown land
how else would it bloom and grow?
