Three wise men started on a journey…
Yes, wise men they were, like all men from the shores
Affable, warm, glib-tongued, most convincingly good to look at.

Stayed in a tavern, looked up at the sky
No star was visible, yet move they did.
Men and women met them, travelled a little
Their thirst unquenchable, goal not in sight,
Picked some henchmen, dropped many individuals
The saga unending, the drama has no curtains.

Ambitious always assembled,
Innocents tricked to join and pay,
Then were shown the door,
Long zig-zag road ahead opened like crocodile's snout.

The trick goes on…
Pick and discard - part of the game,
Another set, another venue, lovely game of cards!
