Crocodile Tears

  Nobody has ever felt
if the crocodile tear
is cool, warm or hot,
but if man sheds it, it is ice-cold.

Man with his crocodile tears
merely pretends to share another’s sorrow,
though he waits for his total disaster,
and from his luxury car ridicules the poor
who can hardly visit a supermarket,
either he lacks money
or he cannot carry the stuff
on his old cycle or the motorbike
that often has no gas…

Air is free, but who can
free of fear, air one’s view?
The land is free, too,
but is there a safe place to land,
unless one sides all that is untrue?

Nobody has ever felt
if the crocodile tear
is cool, warm or hot,
but if man sheds it, it is ice-cold.
