A Sacred Journey

by Prof. Siva Prasad Peddi

The advent of time
Changes everything
From the very being
Of every living being

What appears to be
Earlier at a point of time
Need not be the same
Right from the very name

Displacement of life style
Movement of thoughts
Accepting the change
Endure to attain growth

Transforming of ideas
Expansion of the vision
Proceeding to achieve
Ultimately to discover

Every possible access
Of stretching the soul
And to learn and to see
With clarity and depth

All through the journey
With an unfailing intuition
Seeking all the challenges
Dauntlessly at every step

Escorting us exactly
To a point from where
The journey would proceed
Forward and only forward

Sifting and sieving life
Into a magnificent image
Of triumph and success
Of courage and achievement

Engendering the quality
Of beauty and wisdom
Of power and dignity
Of love and humanity

a journey of life
if steadfast even in strife
without greed and hatred
then its truly sacred
