Randy bought a box of sugar candy
And a bottle of Cognac brandy.
He looked and felt truly like a dandy
As he drove to Bath to pick up Sandy

Alexandra, was just her latest name,
Her only real claim to any fame -
Ability to play the romance game
Irrespective from where the young guy came.

When Randy did reach his destination
He felt a strong sense of trepidation
And guilt pangs about the lack of attention
Given to his parents and their generation

He knew he had no future with Sandy
Yet he showered her with cake and candy
Even shared with her his bottle of brandy
She of course treated him like arm candy

For the onlooker the scene was funny
Randy was spending his hard earned money
Till she turned up with a guy called Sunny
Saying she preferred her new Honey Bunny!

*A fun piece to bring on a smile on the last day of the year!
