Can attraction, the cause is unknown though,
be the law of the nature; why does the little bird
to its mother cling on? Why does all the distant planets
the sun holds on? Face-to-face why do earth and moon ever look on?
Why is all this, who can tell me?
Why should the plants hold back all but release
only the green perhaps our eyes to please?
Why does the sun sprinkle gold dust at dawn?
Every one in nature is giving away its best;
the sea sends out waves to the shore,
the distant clouds pour out cool drinking water
and the morning breeze delivers fragrance at our door.
Is the song of life a packet of soft notes
that comes riding from time’s silent coast?
Is emotion, too, a series of ripples that carries with it
a host of morning flowers, bees and butterflies?
Threads of thoughts like these get jumbled up
to make fabrics of life – colourful and neat,
do chaos and noise, too, compose a melody
to create an aura of love – subtle and sweet?
