I Know Not Where to Find Comfort

I know not where to find comfort.
In despair, I've discovered what bliss is.
The tender touch,
words of love spoken with ease.
To find joy with a loved one.
Sharing names that are tender and true,
touching the heart that loves you.

How sweetly I feel you near,
the warmth of your touch,
Kindness flows in your spirit.
I weep at the loss,
One that will pass in time.
I love you so;
I think you know,
I'll be okay,
When you have gone away,
Not forgotten in my memory.

Farewell darling one,
You have captured my heart,
and even though you've gone away,
I will continue to love,
Goodbye my love,
I love you so much.
Will I ever know the path
that leads to a better place?
