DALIT MIRROR
-Manohar Mouli Biswas
Translated from Bangla by Dr Jaydeep Sarangi
Take a small part of me and scatter everywhere
Invisible self, I will touch all five senses.
No more rejection from your quarter--why?
You will witness
How I shall become human blood.
I’m no longer, where I live,
Evolving every moment.
I construct me to make myself a human being.
I try to write, writing beguiles me
I speak, what I can’t.
So many things remain under the cover.
I destroy and preserve my heart
Day and night
With a little palpation of the untouchable dust.

REBELLION
-Manohar Mouli Biswas
Translated from Bangla by Dr Jaydeep Sarangi
In the flesh alive of my body
The worms eat up.
Why does the cancer spread in streets of the whole body?
Red flag is thirst for blood;
A rose of revolt.
All my decaying cells
Restore the spirit I have
To live as rails of protest.
