Surfing The Sky

Surfing the sky,
Flying for fun,
Gulls catch my eye
Frolicking in the sun.

Flying with ease,
Going round and round,
They do what they please,
High above the ground.

An aerial dance
By a pro team,
Life they romance,
So it would seem.

Surfing the sky,
Flying for fun,
Gulls catch my eye
Frolicking in the sun.

Gravity they defy
As they zoom by;
I stand and sigh—
Wish I could fly.

My life is boring—
Hardly sublime;
They keep soaring,
Having a good time.

Surfing the sky,
Flying for fun,
Gulls catch my eye
Frolicking in the sun.
