Theme: Dreaming

The Dream Weaver

The harpsichord played a mournful melody;
As the weaver of dreams pedalled her
Loom treadle one more time.

And the people slept, and as they slept
Received all that their hearts' desired;
In their own world of sleep and lost memories.

Lust, money, greed and power;
All that the minds of men and women
Could bring forth from their corrupted souls.

And the children dreamed of friends and toys.
