  A happy-go-lucky child
who’s as gentle as a lamb
approached me one fine day
with a thirst for knowledge
which is the endless pursuit of
truth, goodness, beauty and gay.
Carried loads of books and risks
worried with endless works
but believed only hard work
makes him bear the real fruit.

Studied lots of Mathematics
that was his very favourite
practised general science
gained knowledge of both.
Dreamed about further quest
aced every difficult test
came out with flying colours
and was on cloud nine
every time when he was fine.

Constantly grew like topsy
gradually smelt like a rose
the apple of his father’s eye
and the light of his teacher’s life.
Made everyone feel blue when he
met his death in a dreadful lake
which made him disappear forever!
