Mother is Always a Mother...
|

|
Spring is the season of love;
the sun is mild
the moon is extra cool
flowers blossom in every garden
bees hum
butterflies chase each other;
Everyone’s mission
is obviously secret
But the secret of all secrets
is the adventure of cuckoo,
ever busy in music and romance
she does not like to waste a moment
to build her nest,
instead lays eggs at crow’s home.
With love and care
mother crow hatches the chicks,
feeds worms and teaches to caw.
The little ones sweetly sing instead.
Realising the dirty game
the cuckoo has played,
mother crow is ever after it,
yet never harms the innocent chicks.
Mother – real or surrogate,
doesn’t know how to hate,
it hasn’t loved the chicks of cuckoo any less;
mother's heart is forever an ocean of kindness. |
