Your Smile is All Light

When you come near me
Do not smile…
In a roaring ocean
I become a silent isle.

Ah, that smile!
it kills me after midnight
it crucifies me at dawn
it mesmerises me at noon
it ravishes me in the even
and it makes me feel in darkness
All the Light

Your smile is the star
Your smile is the moon
Your smile in my drunken haze
Will kill me soon
When you are out of sight.

Your smile is bon voyage
An evening walk in Kovalam or Goa
In the deluge of God
It is the Ark of Noah
It is the cottage
In the stormy night
Your smile makes me
Burn bright.

Give me one more peck
before I fully break
When the tree breaks
it oozes from within
When the mind melts
It burns hot

In a passionate din
So much keen
I am for your kiss
You don’t know
How much I miss you Miss.
