Prolonged stand-offs
Between the countries
Their cancerous hatred
Towards each other,
Cross-border terrorism
On the grave of humanity
Out of rooted enmity
Fostered by their politics,
Entrapped by their game
Played on line of control
The innocent scapegoats
Bleat and shriek either side
Where dark terror reigns
Trauma srikes and resides
Inside their scared psyche.

The caged life of the mute
Crushed, trod and crippled
And gets for ever unhitched
By the butchers of humanity
To soar freely in His blue sky
With cascading tears in eyes,
Hiding complaints in the heart
Against the ways of this world.
