Cat on the Wall
|
by Padmaja Iyengar-Paddy |
|
|
A cat was perched on a high wall,
Seriously contemplating nature’s call.
She sat wondering,
Is still considering...
The side she should let it all fall...
(Sorry, if this seems like toilet humour – was in a wicked mood this morning. If anyone finds it offensive, will delete it. Just posted for fun) |

Haha! Padmaja-ji, the "side" also refers to political orientation, right? This is wickedly funny! Keep writing!!

Thanks for the "serious" analysis Seshuji. To be perfectly honest, I had the Indian politician in my mind when I wrote it. Something I read in the newspaper annoyed me.

It is not at all funny. It is a very serous issue for them strategically 'n tactically. Such action by the animals has great significance in demarcating boundaries for the rivals --as per studies by animal psychologists. :)
