  Oh my heart !
Oh vulnerable one !
Oh my dear one !
Why do you throb, simply thinking of him
Making him so real, bringing him so close
Without even asking his permission
(You are so impolite)
Without even knowing, what he wishes
(You are so arrogant)

What if he doesn't wish
to come so close and become so real ?
Anything is possible you know....
And why do you always make
Your own assumptions and worse live by them...
Why oh why?

Why don't you just let there be some space
Why do you throb and bring everything so close ?
Making everything seem so real ?

Oh my eyes !
Oh dreamy ones !
Oh precious ones !
Why do you weave such colorful dreams
When events are so far away, hidden in a haze
Why do you mystify and glorify them all
And make them all seem so beautiful and fanciful
that I want to hold them close to me and not let go of them
Why oh why?

When I begin to doubt your ways
You whisper hope in my ears
And show me
Stars and colors floating all around!

My heart and my eyes !
I wish to tell you this –
Do what you want
If that's what you wish
but promise me this !
If
For whatever reason
things do not turn out the way
You would like them to
Heart! Don't you shatter and break !
Eyes! Don't you drown in tears !
