The doctors very dexterously dig up
The small area below her navel land-
To unblock that prolonged blockage
Of hope, happiness and expectation
Stuck in the tube undrained, strained
That has long sprained, crippled her.

All their eyes do peep into her future
Present in womb of her expectations
With a laparoscopy of the assurances
To see the ray of hope and happiness
In darkened field of her life and family.

Implantation of a hope and happiness
In the eyes moistened by life’s despair
In her heart - battered and embittered,
Wanes down to acute agony of her soul,
For expected advent of her cute replica
Plays illusive in siege of lifelong solitude.
