  An army, excuse and invasion
And a claim to being a great nation
Is all you need

The army, righteous and self-sacrificing
The excuse, beyond reproach
And the invasion, commendably honorable
The claim to greatness needs a lot of practice
But you can always rehearse in front of 24/7 TV

While serving sprinkle with speeches on democracy
And wipe the table clean off all hints of hypocrisy
Now you can relish your own instant history
