  Spiritual sermons,
And sacred chants,
Laughter sessions
And Yoga classes,
Physical exercises -
All stopped suddenly!

In deep mourning,
All stood in silence
Still and so aghast
In the eerie corner,
In the jogger’s park
As Death knocked
And kicked down
An old daily walker
On his regular way
While he was living
In the morning walk
With his daily stalk
Hailed by healthy air
With an aging longing
To see more of lights
Of the passing days
Before his hiding into
The final veil of night!

The morning he saw
Did not let him enjoy
The walk of next morn
In the sunset of his life...
