Thank the nightingale For the way she's singing; Thank the nightingale For the joy she's bringing. Thank the nightingale! She plays her role For you and me; The beauty of her soul You can clearly see. She spreads cheer With a voice so sweet, And folks far and near Enjoy her treat. Thank the nightingale For the way she's singing; Thank the nightingale For the joy she's bringing. Thank the nightingale! She puts her heart To sing you her song, And it's a work of art You savor all day long. You close your eyes And listen to her voice; You let her surprise, And you rejoice. Thank the nightingale For the way she's singing; Thank the nightingale For the joy she's bringing. Thank the nightingale!
