Who One is

The place where one belongs comes to be felt
As home; perception is extension of
Oneself, whereby everything realises
Who one is, from the confines of a room
To the street scene, bound in affection to
The centre where the I in pure self-reference
Speaks; and speaks in all as its knowing voice,
With its accent and intonation, who
One is; who others are determined in
Affection as to who one is, their faces
Seen in a mutual mystery of self-
Manifestation, the other sees, then
Unseeing of its own face, knows of who
One is through the other’s face, or distinguishes.
