Let Me

Let me not buy another pair of shoes,
The money will be saved for the deprived,
Let me help the poor get rid of their woes,
Untold miseries they must have survived.

Let me give my shawl to protect someone from cold,
They don’t have room heaters like we do,
Let me visit the old age home to listen to the old,
Which their children don’t bother to.

Let me cut out my expenses and donate for the indigent,
They also deserve a better life to lead, don’t they?
Let me make the orphan kids happy to some extent,
Together we all can help them in some way!

Almost missed it under tonnes of poems. Noble thoughts! Rupradhaji, you don't have to deprive self. Even 2-3% of earnings will bring you a lot of smiles and motivation for others.
