  Forgive me Lord,
In your deafening silence
If I only read your indifference.

Forgive me Lord,
In your three monkeys’ stand
If I see nothing is right in this land.

Demons stand strong with many arms;
They leave us cheated and looted.
Durgashakti is our hidden conscience,
Awakens against the evil deep-rooted,
Still awaits many courageous hands.
Our palms cannot hold slipping sand!

Forgive me Lord,
For speaking out my heart
I can’t see my home falling apart!

Forgive me Lord,
For saying that freedom only flutters in flags;
There are too many now dragging empty bags.

My ember couldn't become a fire...
See in mirror my ashamed face
Yes, I am to be blamed for nothing less!
