It Is

It is reality 
unreachable. 
It is walking alone 
the fields of dawn 
holding solitary dreams 
It is longing, 
blindly 
trying to arrive. 
It is dark nights 
without days. 
It is fresh water 
that thirsty lips 
cannot fully reach. 
It is 
profound intimacy 
that only souls 
in deep unison 
find relief 
through words. 
It is bodies 
that burn alone 
in delirious 
desires, 
extended arms 
trying to find 
solace 
in silent dreams. 
It is tears of yearning 
is frustration, 
craving a loving touch 
from trembling hands. 
It is entering 
a center of fire 
of constricted love. 
Pieces of oceans 
scream over 
powerful waves 
that never reach the shores. 
It is two souls united 
disregarding the distance 
in this world's body, 
holding to each other, 
never letting go, 
enveloped in messages 
of jasmine and love.
