What Kind of Growth is This?

  It’s a life every day
It’s a death every day
I am the sword and I am the shield

Hoping to slow down
Running too fast
I am not sure what will it yield

It’s an era of contests
Slaying all relationships
Everyone combating to reach the pinnacle

Running past the laughter
Forgetting the games
Missing small things, destroying life’s crackle

Checking people through watsapp
Wishing birthdays through facebook
Meeting our loved ones mostly through twitter

Greetings are empty affections
Emotions by large virtual
Have we all become bleak quitter!
