Solace of Solitude

A moment of intimacy with myself...
Alone in my head, my heart marooned, I feel at ease...
The silence buzzing in my ears, I am a spectator to the world...
I have all my time to think and drift, taking solace in solitude.

I am unreachable, investigating myself...
I am aloof, above my woes, commuted to a place of peace,
The caressing wind, the only agent able to reach my world...
I am free to master myself in this solace of solitude.
