  A clock without hands
is timeless,
like me without you.

We tick,
but not for
moments measuring time.

We sigh
full sixty times an hour
and yet we show no sign.

We do not ever
miss the beat
and yet it's all in vain.

I close my eyes
raise my hand,
and move it all around.

I get your hand,
we miss the beat
and the time stops.
