Like flowing silk
Melody mellifluous
Notes moving along
Like a gurgling rivulet
Carried higher
In the swirling gyres
I hear my poem
As your song
Words come alive
My poem reborn
I revisit it
Moved and mesmerized
When the song
Celebrates my word
Which dances to its tune
In my soul
The two unite
To give birth
To another poem
That waits
To become your song!
