  Little angel, my womb you hallowed ever so briefly,
That short span with joy you enriched, my lovely;
Cruel nature snatched you away all too swiftly
Leaving me as before - empty, bereft and lonely.
My heart grieves, dreamful eyes now weep
For you my darling whom I could not keep.
Answers I seek as shaken and baffled I feel,
But mysterious fate its intent will not reveal!
This estrangement is only for a while, my dear,
Don't lose heart, for Faith and Hope are ever near.
Once again our paths will cross, our lives entwine
My life He will bless with your presence divine.
