Half Moon

Stars in your eyes
and a half moon
smitten round your neck
is a state of cosmic abandon.
 
Close them in fear
of star devouring
black holes.
It won’t be dark,
half moon
etched in bright stones
would light unending night.
 
I wish you
never fathom
the possibility
of your being
and carry on with nothingness.
 
For there lies
my entire togetherness.
