Shrouding Clouds

Children raise their hands
to catch the pearls that drop down straight from the sky.

They raise their heads 
to search and discover
the origin of the lightning that
flashes the whole world in brightness.

But their thoughts are darkly clouded
and shrouded by the clouds in between
