If You Are Happy

If you are happy
Staying away from me,
Setting yourself free,
Avoiding my phone calls,
Building between us walls,
Going away so far,
Going back to her,
Then may God make you happy!
May God give me all your pain,
I will bear with it all over again!

Comment Rupa, you paint pure love and the virtues of sacrifice. I hope love takes the right turn and gets back to you, my dear friend.

Comment Selfless love so beautifully expressed....sacrifices in love are really commendable....you are right in proving that..

Comment I keenly read your compositions, Rupradhaji, and whatever you write it's always taken personal to you though you have clarified at occasions. Whatever may be the fact, you are successful and I like it.

Comment It is true love. A Hindustani girl only can do all this. She can endure all the pains & sorrows of her partner as well as her own.A lot of thanks for beautiful
and heart touching lines.

Comment Why should God give all pain to you for someone who has chosen to set himself free? Why this martyr tone, Ru? No need to sacrifice..move on...A good poem, all the same...
