Frankness Dilemma
by Padmaja Iyengar - Paddy

To be frank and outspoken is one thing.
But to be sweetly frank with a truthful ring
And sugar coating, quite another -
Like getting in hard water a lather.
Or someone trying to...to an empty hall sing!

I often go through this dilemma,
And the solution remains an enigma.
When asked for an opinion
I tend to be frank and open
And branded with the “arrogant” stigma.

Comment An open and frank opinion may temporarily upset a right person but soon he or she will understand truth and admire it. As for the wrong person, you need not even care whether one likes or dislikes it.

Comment We are all that something or someone trying to sing to an empty hall. But, please make sure that you don't brand yourself arrogant. Let the others go to hell. Thanks for sharing this with us, Padmaja-ji. Well done!
