Clock's Paradox

There is no second
To a second
One breaks
To create another
Irretrievable
Unstoppable
In this flow and flux
Are
Smile and sorrow
Ruin and restoration
Peace and chaos

Tied and untied
We come and go
Fixed in change
Amidst this boon and bane
Of the clock’s unending paradox!
