What have we achieved to celebrate Republic Day?
Corrupt politics has obstructed progress of the nation
And it is still a developing nation even after 66 years!
In lieu of happiness only anger people have ever
Even seeing lack of sanitation and drinking water
Being provided to more than half of the nation!
Still nation is looking for monsoon rains for agriculture,
When a lot of rivers are flowing wastefully to sea ever
Without being interlinked or diverted to dry lands.....!
Wasteful use of people's tax money is compensated
By again hiking prices and levying new taxes on people;
Unmindful of wrath of all, rulers wish to be in power!
Sincere, honest and developmental rulers people seek
Now to replace the incumbent rulers at the earliest...;
But the inefficient govt. wants to be in power till end!
