Justice delayed is justice denied –
A lesson in every law student is imbibed.
But as a matter of fact,
This has had no impact,
As hopes of petitioners are often belied.
Civil cases languish in courts for years,
Leaving the hapless petitioners in tears.
Advocates merrily thrive,
On loopholes that deprive
Justice that could have brought cheers.
