I Heard Him

As if she is swollen pregnant,
He wrapped his legs around her freed
From all the thorny leaves

And he is climbing, little boy
Without fear,
Settling into her nook

I edge closer'

Buzzing, buzzing in a furious dance
On the blossoms of the holly tree
I surrender to what pleases the bees

Sweet perfume and I'm rising
As the little boy
With scrapped knees
