Holi, Colours of Love

Happy to see the lovely colours
magically add to life
meaningful flavours.
See how the enthusiasm
and excitement triggers.
New relations and the old ones
all get moulded and favoured.

Colours of love disguised
Plans to make others surprised
This festival makes all of them
forget their rivalries and hatred
and the celebration becomes
more impatiently awaited.
Would love to see...
see the beautiful faces painted.

The entire year goes by and
eagerly waiting to meet you.
Desire to get drenched and smeared
with colours of love so fresh and new.
Holi, a wonderful festival
Brings me closer to you
You lure me with your glances
which keep me glued.

I hope you will acknowledge
My attempt of expressing
My love to you through colours.
These colours of love
with care and love will be smeared
without succumbing to any fear.
You will for sure
make this Holi memorable dear.
