Theme: God

Hiding in my Heart

You were hiding in my heart
But I could never see
I always looked for you
In the outside world
I never looked within my heart
In all my love, in all my sufferings and hopes
You were always close to me
But I never went to you
When I happily played
As my joy you remained with me
I passed my time unaware of this
Hidden in the heart of my heart
You give tunes to my songs
Which I sing in my joys and sorrows
Yet I never sing about you.

Comment Dear Rdashby, this is a song and not an argument in a philosophical disquisition.

Comment The poet cannot be blamed, even by himself in this beautiful poem, for not singing 'about' God. God is a principle in our lives the experience of which is not in terms of 'you' but of truth, beauty and love that is a celebration of God.
