Love Revisited

I thought I had left the past,
I thought that meeting was our last
That in my heart there was just pain,
That I would never fall in love again
Till the time I saw those eyes,
And all the truths seemed like lies
Till the time I felt that sweet scent,
And all those words you said you meant
I thought I had left the past,
I thought that meeting was our last.

But that one meeting pierced my heart,
And now I wish we wouldn't have had to part
I try not to think of you everyday,
I try and keep my past away
But maybe it had to happen this way,
Maybe we had to meet that day
Maybe I had to revisit that love, revisit that pain,
Maybe that's the price...to fall in love again.
