  A quest queues…

Wait for the awaited
Lingers…
In my patience

Ever hopeful...I am,
Albeit
With a heavy heart

Growing gloom
Lies in wait
And...

Waiting behind
Are the eyes, sunken
For her glimpse

Quite divine!

Comments on this Poem

Comment "...An ardent desire of a poet to achieve divine light or spiritual glory artistically expressed. It has passed a long time that he it waiting for it. Though his heart has tired due to long wait and his eyes are also sunken but his quest for divine light is so true that he is still waiting for it with patience and hope. In a way it sounds like tautology. Written in majestic and non pareil style and full of mystic optimism .."- Durga Patva
