  Monster, Oh Monster

Who made you this way?

You must have been someone’s boy

Before you lost your way

Did they snatch your dreams?

As the sky lay silver grey

Did you cry for your lost innocence

Or just threw it away?

Why am I your chosen prey?

Was it a tax I didn't pay?

You peel my skin every day

And cry for it to heal right away

Years have passed of your little play

It's now our only way

You taught me to obey

And never wait for the last day

Your skin now ash grey

Lying on the floor you await your judgement day

Stinking of cigarettes in the ashtray

You cry for heavens to take you away

A hand caresses your hair

It's me, much to your dismay

I cry for you to not go away

You are My Monster

Oh my Sweet Monster

Stay with me another day

Lie in my arms and sway

Let's sway away
