Moon Maiden

Moon maiden,
Walking on earth,
Moon maiden,
You spread mirth.

With a moonlike face
Glowing all the time,
You radiate grace,
And look sublime.

I see your eyes,
And the love that's flowing;
So serene and wise,
What joy they're bestowing!

I see your smile,
I hear your voice,
And for a while,
I rejoice.

With your laughter,
You sprinkle cheer,
And that's what I'm after,
I tell you, dear.
