Often I wonder how God made you mother,
So many roles bound with one another,
Sometimes you are sister, friend and nurse,
You love me; you scold me but never do curse,
Your arms are my cradle; your words are my balm,
Whenever I am angry; you make me calm,
Long live my mother I pray to God,
Keep her healthy to love me long.
