Theme: Restoration

My heart has found a home again,
A river runs through grief's scorched land,
Her waters ease my burning thirst
For happiness and succor.
I walked this desert, though not alone;
Love's hand held mine in quietude
Allowing me, in gentle rest
To find my way again.
My search was misdirected then,
I thought the only path was death,
But now I see a gentler way
Where love brings life renewed.

Comment Thank you Kulbir. This was written at the beginning of my return to India to find peace.
