Her Wait

Awaits her love the dainty filly
Her eyes sparkle beneath a tree
Humble bee whispers in the ears
For honey with its lovers, flowers

The beauteous little humming bird
In that garden searching for food
Reaches and misses, it tries and tries
For those flying flowers in the skies

For watchers it’s a magical delight
Colored charm of butterflies’ flight
All this between evening and night
In picturesque moments of twilight

Curious sun breaking through clouds
Failing to land, bends back and molds
Sitting in the sky as a lovely rainbow
Up from there, watching all the show
