Love in Dreams

Yet again with me last night
you were there
in my dream, tempting me
through your enticing art
the salacious beauty
lascivious eyes looking into mine
to transcend the reality
of the manifest -
the earthly barricade
the cold night full of fogs and smog
for warmth of heart and soul.

The painting once drawn by you
hung one side on the wall
was kissing your fingers
the lanky pointers with polished nails,
as if teasing my envious eyes
you were in full glee
so was I in a way... in my own way.

Witnessing our amorous meet
were then the sugar canes
standing around as disciplined
as the honest dutiful cops
surrounding us engulfed
in passionate spark;
soaked to the bone
in LOVE,
sought or unsought
we were sucking the sweet canes
as if extracting the essence of life
in the midnight's dream
through the secret rendezvous.
