Musings of a Fractured Sunset - Tales from Gwalior

  I have thought of you
in South African evenings
when traffic queues
search for star lights in your eyes
and I search for words you once said

hiding in cloth folds in my mind
and these multi-storeyed buildings
would have been ideal
to jump down just for the heck of it
even summers here are so respectful
full of colonial manners

and you would have said:

kya itni door isi liyey ayey?
did you come so far for all this?

As the robots turns green
I speed with your laughter
just waiting for the crash to happen
just waiting for the words to come back ...

again
